Salary/Pay and Grade Pay - For posts (1-6), the payable salary will be Rs 26,600 - 90,000, for posts (7-9), the payable salary will be Rs 32,000 - 1,27,000 and for posts (10-12), the payable salary will be Rs 37,500 - 1,45,000 per month. Mechanic Diesel/ Fitter/ Welder/Instrument Mechanic - {10th pass and ITI in mechanic diesel/ fitter/ welder/ instrument mechanic trade} 
Boiler Attendant/ Boiler Attendant Trainee- {10th pass and two years of ITI in boiler attendant}
Graduate Trainee - {B.Sc in physics/ chemistry/ mathematics with three years of post qualification experience in chemical activities/ oil and gas/ petrochemical industry}
Staff Nurse - {B.Sc in nursing and minimum two years of professional experience}
Civil/ Mechanical Engineer - {a three years of diploma in civil/ mechanical engineering}
Diploma Engineer - {a three years of diploma in electronics and telecommunication/ electronics and communication/ electronics and instrumentation/ instrumentation engineering}.

Selection Method - For recruitment in the Oil India Limited, the candidate will be selected on the basis of their performance in the computer based online exam and then document verification. Candidates must be prepared for these tests. 
 
Syllabus and Exam Pattern - The computer-based exam will consists of following subjects.
English Language/ General Knowledge/ Awareness (20 Questions, 20 Marks) 
Reasoning/ Arithmetic/ Numerical and Mental Ability (20 Questions, 20 Marks)
Domain or Relevant Technical Knowledge on Oil India Limited (60 Questions, 60 Marks).
The total number of questions for computer-based objective type exam will be 100 and total marks will be also 100. The duration exam of exam will be of 120 minutes and there will be no negative marking for wrong answers.

Work Experience - No further work experience required for some of the posts. Fresher candidates and candidates with no experience can also apply for this recruitment.
